With a diverse understanding of the industry, Robert always strives to deliver excellence through a consistent drive to meet the needs of his extensive client base. Small detailed schemes to large scale, multi site projects, prestigious to personal; Robert seeks to treat every venture with the same level of professionalism and high quality detailed delivery.

With over 20 years of experience in the Lighting Industry, Robert has continually pushed the barriers of lighting design while developing his project management and communication skills to an exceptional standard. A graduate of the Surrey Institute of Art and Design, Robert initially fell into the world of lighting and lighting design, working at Design Lighting in Exeter.  Robert quickly found he had a talent for more advanced lighting designs, establishing himself as the go to lighting engineer of choice in the South West. Further qualifications with the Lighting Industry Federation (LIF) swiftly followed. With the completion of his studies in Advanced Lighting, Robert was awarded the Lighting Diploma by the Society of Light and Lighting in 2005. As a member of the SLL and affiliate to CIBSE, Robert believes in continuous professional development and the implementation of best practice in the industry.

Robert has been involved in numerous projects ranging from high end domestic to nuclear power stations, from artistic colour changing installations to complex technical arrangements. Robert’s diverse understanding of the industry and early uptake of LED technology have led to many opportunities to test his design skills including British Embassies in Russia and Kenya. Other prestigious projects have involved various NHS Trusts, Weymouth Harbour Bridge for the 2012 Olympics and Apple franchise stores as well as a number of Starbucks outlets, to name just a few.
